About Us
The Transporter is a transportation and mobility company serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast with a focus on access, connectivity, and community impact. We provide transportation solutions that connect people to employment, healthcare, education, tourism, and essential services, while supporting regional growth and revitalization efforts.
The Transporter works in partnership with Mississippi Access Connect Bus, Inc. (The MAC Bus), a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding mobility and transportation access across underserved communities. Together, our organizations support initiatives that strengthen workforce access, improve quality of life, and help bridge transportation gaps throughout the region.
The organization is led by Tawanna McFarlin, strategist and founder of 4 APPS LLC, a strategic management and consulting firm focused on planning, organizational development, community initiatives, and economic growth strategies. This collaborative approach allows transportation, strategy, and community development to work together to create a sustainable impact.
Services and initiatives include transportation planning, community mobility solutions, workforce access initiatives, strategic partnerships, private transportation services, and community development efforts throughout Jackson County and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
